Breakfast all day, errryday!
Disney World breakfasts are the BEST, and we especially love their cinnamon rolls. That’s why we were SO excited to see this dessert today! (Um…baked goods on top of baked goods? We’re all over that.)

Put away your pumpkins, everybody!
It’s November 1st, and you know what that means… It’s Christmas time!! And, while we’re super excited for all the holiday merch in Disney World, the sweet aroma of the Gingerbread Castle has us ready for some Christmas cookies!
A blizzard full of Frozen 2-themed treats have been making their way around Disney World!
Recently, we’ve tried the Frozen 2 Fall Cheesecake, Frozen 2 Mini Spirit Cupcakes, Frozen 2 Caramel Mousse, and Frozen Orange Cream Soda, and now we’re snagging another dessert at this Disney Resort!
It’s almost Halloween, and that means there are SO MANY desserts being baked up in Disney World!
And, while we might not have a black cauldron, there’s a tasty treat we found bubbling up at two Disney resorts!
The Star Wars hotel (Also known as the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser), which is a new type of hotel experience, is now available at Disney World.
And although it sounds AWESOME, you’re going to need to think about this Disney experience completely differently from how you think about regular Disney hotels when it comes to planning your Disney World vacation!
is located at the Grand Floridian Resort just a Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Polynesian Village Resort. (And soon — possibly via walkway from Magic Kingdom!)
This Victorian-inspired restaurant serves table service eats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with identical breakfast and lunch menus resulting in some truly epic brunch bites. We’re talking a Buttermilk Chicken and Waffle, an Eggs Benedict Flight, and more. Click here to see why brunch is brilliant at Grand Floridian Cafe!
But on this visit, we’re grabbing dinner. The dinner menu here is a separate entity from breakfast and lunch, but some popular ‘brunch’ items do appear at dinner, too! The Lobster ‘Thermidor’ Burger is available all day (see that review here!), as is the Miso-Glazed Salmon (reviewed below!). The Artisan-Made Spinach-Ricotta Ravioli is a favorite that’s good to go for three meals a day (more on that below, too!), and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken makes a reprise at dinner (but without the waffle).
The point is: Grand Floridian Cafe’s got your tastebuds’ backs all day long! 😉 So let’s see how dinner stacks up and whether Grand Floridian Cafe is good for more than just a fabulous brunch.
The atmosphere of Grand Floridian Cafe echos the Victorian tones of the entire Resort. [Read more…]
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
is a luau feast featuring Polynesian-inspired food and entertainment in an open-air setting.
Located in Luau Cove at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this dinner show highlights hula traditions, enthusiastic drumming, fire dancing, and more as diners enjoy platters of all-you-care-to-enjoy eats.
The Disney official backstory of Spirit of Aloha is that the host of the luau, Auntie Wini, is bidding aloha to one of her ‘ohana who’s heading “to the mainland” for college. And because when you’re at the Polynesian, everyone is ‘ohana, you’re invited to the celebration, too!
And we have to say: Auntie Wini does know how to put on a show! But would we be as taken with the food as we were with the entertainment? Let’s take a ride on the Hawaiian roller coaster that is Spirit of Aloha and see is we feel the love.
Disney’s Spirit of Aloha offers two showtimes: 5:15PM and 8:15PM. [Read more…]
It’s time for another What’s New segment! Today, we’re going to be taking a trip over to the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts to catch up on all the construction, food, and entertainment happening. Let’s get started!
What’s that? There’s a review of the Goofy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake?!
While we’d grown to love the Reese’s Pieces cupcake, the adorable Goofy chocolate cake and peanut butter buttercream (!!!) replacement is just so gawrsh darn good! [Read more…]
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
has expanded to the new 545-room Gran Destino Tower, and atop that tower is a new lounge that is not to be missed!
Dahlia Lounge is inspired by the Disney short film Destino which was, in part, storyboarded by artist Salvador Dali. It told a fascinating story about a mortal, Dahlia, who catches the eye of Chronos, the Greek figure who represents time.
Dali’s surrealist’s spirit infused the film, and it has infused Dahlia Lounge as well. Warmth, visual interest, and expert mixologists (artists in their own right!) are found here. [Read more…]
Toledo — Tapas, Steak, and Seafood
is Gran Destino Tower’s rooftop table service restaurant, and when we say rooftop, know that it feels every bit of its 15-story height! But if you head up there to the top, you will be rewarded.
Because that altitude serves one spectacular purpose: to provide diners with one-of-a-kind views of Walt Disney World, including (when you time it just right!) glimpses of nighttime spectaculars at not one but TWO Parks! [Read more…]
