Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at EPCOT!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has officially reopened! With a new entrance, a new (but still not open) Monorail station, and new Moana-themed rooms, there’s a lot of new things to check out around the resort!
However, there are also plenty of old classics at the Polynesian that we’ve been missing lately! Today, we spotted the reopening of yet another Polynesian spot!
We’ve been counting down the days until Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort officially reopens.
In the meantime, we’ve been checking out all the other reopenings at the resort, including Oasis Bar and Grill, ‘Ohana (for breakfast AND dinner), and Kona Island (did someone say candied bacon?). But we’ve been impatiently waiting for a chance to check out the new Moana-themed rooms at the hotel.
The Wave…of American Flavors is a restaurant located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort near Magic Kingdom. This spot usually serves up fresh, market-inspired meals all day long.
We’ve enjoyed breakfast here in the past, however the restaurant is currently under refurbishment. In the meantime, you’ll find The Wave’s breakfast up at the California Grill on the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort! We wanted to check out how the dining experience had changed by moving the same meal to a completely different restaurant, so let’s check it out!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is set to reopen VERY soon after a lengthy refurbishment!
During construction, the main entrance, Monorail station, and rooms were completely revamped and rethemed to be centered around Disney’s Moana. Although these are some major changes, we noticed a smaller change that you’ll want to be aware of if you’re snacking around the resort!
The Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a great place to enjoy a drink and take a load off after a long day at the parks!
Although we’ve been checking out the newly reopened restaurants in Disney World, like ‘Ohana, Citricos, and Trail’s End, we noticed some new menu items pop-up at Territory Lounge!
UPDATE! The Disney Wine and Dine 10K is now sold out. Other races remain available.Â
runDisney is one of the many ways you can celebrate your love for Disney! With events ranging from Half-Marathons to Kids’ Runs, there’s a way for everyone to run (or walk) around the parks!
After quite a few virtual runs, runDisney is back and we’ve got some great news for you!
Big changes are coming all over Disney World! With several resorts getting refurbishments or overhauls and a ton of new rides like the Tron coaster coming soon, there’s plenty of construction going on at the parks and resorts!
Today, we’re checking out the construction progress at the monorail resorts: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort!
We know that Thanksgiving Week may seem forever away, but 2021 has been plowing by quickly!
And, now that Halloween time starts in August with the BOO Bash followed by Disney World’s 50th anniversary, we’re already in the holiday preparation mode. So, if you plan on heading to Disney World in November, you’re going to want to see the prices and availability for Thanksgiving Week this year!
It’s a very special day because one of DFB’s favorite restaurants is back! That’s right, ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Resort has reopened!
This restaurant has a very special spot in our hearts and we often review it very favorably! From the great atmosphere to the delicious bread pudding, this spot has it all! As if stopping by ‘Ohana for breakfast wasn’t enough, we also decided to grab some dinner! Come explore the newly reopened fan-favorite with us!
