The first season of this Disney+ show was a big hit, and fans have been wondering when a second season might be announced. So far, Disney hasn’t mentioned anything about the possibility of another season being greenlit, but we do have a pretty big hint that it could be on the way!

It’s happening quite a bit lately, especially with Disney shows. We’ve seen series after series canceled on ABC, Disney+, and even Disney Channel, and now, another show is joining that list.

If you watched the Disney Channel a lot growing up, then there’s a good chance you’ve seen Wizards of Waverly Place at some point.

The fan-favorite family comedy starred Selena Gomez as Alex Russo, who navigated her teenage life as a wizard while surrounded by her normal friends, classmates, and teachers. Of course, her family members were also wizards, including her older brother Justin, played by David Henrie. The show was cancelled in 2012, but now we have some news.Â
It seems to be the time of year when we start hearing about TV show cancellations.

Earlier this year, Disney shared that an all-new series would debut on Disney+ in December — Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Yep, this series is a re-telling of the novels by Rick Riordan, who  has been working on the project since 2020. It’s safe to say that our middle and high school selves have been thriving as we look forward to the release date. Speaking of release date… that day is TODAY.Â
Out of recently-added Marvel series, ‘Loki’ has been a fan-favorite.

The series, whose first season debuted on Disney+ in 2021, follows the god of mischief throughout the aftermath of the events that took place in Avengers: Endgame. The series has 4.8 stars on Google reviews and 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, proving the show a success! So.. Who is the mind behind this beloved series? Michael Waldron! And now, he’s about to take on a new project within Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.
Well, you can say that in 2023 a LOT has been going on with The Walt Disney Company and not all of it has been good.
