We’ve known about the Disney Skyliner’s closure for a few months now, so that’s not the weird thing. The Disney Skyliner is one of the newest and most convenient transportation options in Disney World.

You get to board a gondola and travel through the sky — so it’s basically a ride outside of the parks! The Skyliner connects a few Disney World Resort hotels with two Disney Parks, but this transportation option will be unavailable for a few days. We love trying new drinks and checking out new arrivals in the shops at the Skyliner Resorts. Yesterday, we spotted some construction, characters, and a fun new hat!
While the Disney Skyliner only opened September 29th, Disney World has already dealt with some technical difficulties.
Disnet Skyliner
Due to a collision, many guests were left stranded inside the gondolas for up to 3 hours (yikes). Buuut, it appears the issues regarding the Skyliner has been resolved ’cause they’re back open!
