Welcome back, friends! It’s time for our monthly Disney World news recap. It was a BUSY month in Disney World! We learned SO much, welcomed back several long-awaited experiences, and got some exciting updates on a few upcoming projects.

Disney World is a POWERHOUSE when it comes to cranking out new merchandise and treats! Just when you think you’ve seen it all, Disney proves you wrong. We’re not complaining, though! From the tiniest little additions to the BIG construction updates, it’s always fun to see what’s new in the Magic Kingdom.
2022 is FLYING by!
We’re in Disney World pretty much ALL the time, so we figured we’d share a little update on what’s new! Let’s take a look at what we found in the Magic Kingdom this week!Â
Disney World is all chicken tenders, fries, burgers, churros, and ice cream sandwiches, right? WRONG. VERY, VERY WRONG.

Sure, we love ourselves a good funnel cake or giant Mickey waffle, but if you’re looking for a more elevated dining experience (we’re talking Pork Belly, Seafood Pearl Pasta, and more!) then we’ve found just the place for you. It can fall under the radar for most folks though. Have you stopped by to eat at this somewhat hidden BoardWalk spot? Should you make it a must-do on your next trip? We’ve got THOUGHTS.
Disney World has SO many snacks, it can be hard to know what to order! Sometimes, you might see something on the menu and think it looks delicious, only to be let down. Unfortunately, today was one of those days when we did not enjoy our meal today in the Magic Kingdom. What can we say…we were drawn in by the enticing menu photo and tricky 50th Anniversary branding! We’ve all been there.

Disney released a TON of new snacks and desserts for the 50th Anniversary. Some were adorable and delicious; others were not. We’re here to issue a warning to those of you looking for a quick lunch or mid-afternoon snack: don’t make the same mistake we did!Â

We’ve also tried some other delicious snacks all around Disneyland Resort, including cookie butter beignets, specialty churros, and MORE! But there’s still some room in our bellies for more food! Recently, we visited Disney California Adventure’s Cappuccino Cart to try a new dessert!

Between the Festival of the Arts at EPCOT and the Lunar New Year Festival at Disney California Adventure, plus the return of some of our favorite snacks, we’ve been eating pretty well the past few weeks. And this weekend, we got the chance to try yet another dessert that you may be interested in for your next trip!
In Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the Harambe Market is one of the more underrated spots in the park, featuring a wide range of delicious options! Since its reopening in late 2020, we’ve been wowed by the delicious ribs and chicken, salads, and cocktails we found at this spot (keep an eye for that shave ice cart, it pops up every now and then!).

At DFB, we LOVE Disney World’s plastic cheese. You know, that golden, plastic-looking cheese that comes with Mickey pretzels and corn dog nuggets. It’s the kind of cheese that isn’t necessarily the world’s finest cheese, but it does exactly what it needs to do. What can we say — it’s a classic! And while you won’t find us disparaging plastic cheese very often, we do feel obligated to inform you that there is a HUGE difference between plastic cheese and beer cheese.Â
