Despite many restaurants reopening in Disney Springs, there are a few remaining dining locations that we have yet to hear of an official reopening date.
One of those restaurants is House of Blues. And although we still do not know when they will be reopening, we just noticed an update on their website that says they are “opening soon,” with several new health and safety measurements in place.
There has been a TON of news coming out of Disney World today!
After a lengthy closure beginning back on March 16th, Disney World announced that they hope to reopen Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom on July 11th, followed by EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on July 15th. Whenever the parks are cleared to reopen, guests can expect to experience several changes including new health and safety guidelines, required reservations for park entrance, and contactless menus in restaurants.
There have been a ton of announcements about the Disney World theme parks today, but there’s news coming out of Disney Springs as well!
Disney Springs began a phased reopening on May 20th, with select third-party shopping and dining locations welcoming back guests.
Last week, we reported LIVE from the grand reopening of Disney Springs.
We took you around to see the new health and safety protocols and to check out the reopened dining and shopping experiences. For the reopening, restaurants like The Basket at Wine Bar George have been rolling out new menu items (helloooo loaded fries) since the reopening and we just caught a glimpse of another new item over at The Polite Pig.
Disney Springs began its phased reopening on May 20th to welcome guests back to its third-party restaurants and stores.
Since there are plenty of new health and safety procedures in place across Disney Springs, restaurants are limiting capacity and implementing social distancing measures. And, while we gave you ALL the details on dining in Disney Springs, we’re back again for more food! But, this time, we’re heading to Morimoto Asia for some Japanese cuisine.
Morimoto Asia Street Food is now reopened in Disney Springs!
Select third-party shops and restaurants began reopening at Disney Springs on May 20th. We were there on reopening day to share our experience, and we’re continuing to drop in to check out locations as they reopen. Today, Morimoto Asia Street Food joined the list of reopened locations at Disney Springs, so we stopped in to grab some lunch!

We have been taking you around Disney Springs to see the new safety procedures and how they affect guests’ shopping and dining experiences. We’re walking you step-by-step through a post-closure Disney Springs and going over exactly how your visit could look much different than your previous trips.
We’re live from Disney Springs on its reopening day.
We’ve taken you with us through parking, temperature checks, Frontera Cocina, Wine Bar George, The Boathouse, and more — and now we’re taking you with us to 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck!
Disney Springs is now re-opened — with several stores and restaurants welcoming guests once again.
We’ve been reporting live all day, but now we’re heading over to Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza to see if they can still crank out that super speedy pizza that we know and love!
