First Look and Review! B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. in Disney Springs

“Who’s afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?”

Well, if you’re one of the Three Little Pigs, you probably are — and with good reason! But if that doesn’t happen to be your situation 😉 , then you have no reason to fear stepping right up to the brand new B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. kiosk — especially if you’re in the mood for the house specialty!

B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co., The Daily Poutine, and YeSake are three Disney owned-and-operated food kiosks slated to open on May 15th — the same day the new Town Center will open in Disney Springs. (The final kiosk to join Disney Springs, AristoCrepes, is scheduled to open on May 22nd.)

But we were able to happen upon a soft opening today! Prior to official openings, sometimes new Disney World eateries will host soft openings to give the Cast some practice and work out any possible kinks (this also means that the spot is not guaranteed to be in operation at any given time until it officially opens on May 15th).

With more than a wink and a nod to the story of The Three Little Pigs — which Walt Disney produced as a Silly Symphony short film in 1933 — B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. is serving up Artisan Sausages to Disney Springs guests.

News: STK Orlando to Open Summer of 2016 in Disney Springs

We know we have a lot of great new arrivals to look forward to in Disney Springs very soon! May 15th alone will bring the debut of the new Town Center of the Springs along with the opening of four new eateries on the same day: Amorette’s Patisserie, B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co., The Daily Poutine, and Sprinkles.

But what about STK Orlando, the modern, high-end steakhouse set to open in The Landing of Disney Springs? It’s been a while since there has been any news regarding this spot which was originally slated for a late 2015 opening, then rescheduled for early 2016. While much of the recent talk surrounds several eateries still on the way to Disney Springs — AristoCrepes, D-Luxe Burger, Amorette’s Patisserie, Sprinkles, and The Daily Poutine to name just a few — we’ve known for some time that big changes are also in store for Fulton’s Crab House.

Whether or not you’ve ever dined at Fulton’s Crab House, it’s quite likely that you would still recognize this restaurant if you’ve ever paid a visit to Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney), thanks to its eye-catching design — a replica of a riverboat that Walt Disney purchased for his wife, Lillian.

However, this longtime landmark will be a little less familiar when it reopens this fall with a new name, look, and added features. Under the name Paddlefish, the cuisine will still focus on fresh seafood (as well as chops and steaks and a new oyster shucking bar). But some plans for the “bow to stern update” resulting in a more modern feel can be seen in the concept art recently posted by Fulton’s Crab House on their Twitter account and Facebook page. News: Sprinkles to Open May 15th in the Town Center of Disney Springs

Disney Springs is going to be THE place to be on May 15th! That’s the day the Town Center — the final neighborhood of Disney World’s still-transitioning dining and entertainment district — will officially open to guests, along with Amorette’s Patisserie, B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co., and The Daily Poutine.

And if that weren’t enough, we’ve got one more to add to the list… Sprinkles Cupcakes is set to open on May 15th, too!

That’s right! The bakery made famous as the “world’s first cupcake bakery” (according to the Food Network), will be serving up hand-crafted cupcake goodies to Town Center guests, along with slow-churned ice cream and homemade cookies. [Read more…]

News! “The Daily Poutine” Coming to Disney Springs in Walt Disney World

Just last month, we learned of two new food kiosks on the way to Disney Springs.

While upcoming dining venues like D-Luxe Burger, Amorette’s Patisserie, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, and Sprinkles (just to name a few) have garnered their fair share of headlines, for a while the only information available regarding B.B. Wolf’s Sausage Co. and AristoCrepes was that they are “Coming Soon,” thanks to signs that suddenly appeared in Disney Springs several weeks ago.

News! Amorette’s Patisserie Opening in Disney Springs on May 15th

More Disney Springs Opening News!

The Town Center — the final neighborhood coming to Disney’s still-transitioning dining and entertainment district — will officially open to guests in Disney Springs on May 15th. And we are excited to say that Amorette’s Patisserie will open right along with it on that same day!

Of course, Amorette’s Patisserie will tell its own part of the Town Center story. Disney shares that the patisserie was one of the original Town Center shops (like the neighborhood itself, the patisserie was established circa 1900s according to story), and “is currently owned by artistic sisters Kara and Sara, where they pour great care into designing and creating the most unique and artistic pastries. In fact, ‘Amorette’ means ‘little love’ in French.” [Read more…]

News: D-Luxe Burger to Open May 2016 in Disney Springs

Remember the big news a few weeks back announcing some of the additions on the way with the continued expansion of Disney Springs? It included the goods on some more new eateries making their way to the area formerly known as Downtown Disney, which are set to open in phases beginning May 15th — spots like Amorette’s Patisserie, the Coca-Cola Store, and a few more details about Sprinkles and its already-famous Cupcake ATM.

Well, it looks like the first of these new additions on the way will be (drum roll, please…) D-Luxe Burger! Disney has announced that this Disney-owned and operated gourmet burger-and-shake joint will open its doors to this western-inspired spot in May, set in the Town Center section of Disney Springs. Then you may want to check out the new Brunch selections available at Fulton’s Crab House.

Brunch continues to be all the rage around Disney World, with new dining options such as the Waterfront Brunch at the Grand Floridian’s Narcoossee’s and Brunch at the Top at the Contemporary’s California Grill, which will make its debut on February 7^th.

The new Brunch menu at Fulton’s just launched on January 17th, and will continue to be an option each Sunday from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm, in keeping with the standard lunch menu availability.
