Disney’s shopping and dining district is one of our favorite places to spend time in Disney World without paying for a park ticket. From the incredible restaurants to the fun entertainment and special shopping, there is so much to do. We’ve even found some of our favorite Disney snacks and we might have just found a new favorite.
There are SO many great places to grab a snack when you’re visiting Disney Springs.
Disney Springs
There’s the ever-popular Gideon’s Bakehouse, the delicious Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, and of course, the incredibly inventive Salt & Straw. If you want Dole Whip, you could hit Swirls on the Water, or if you’re in the mood for cookies without the wait, the Cookie Bar at Summer House on the Lake is a great option. But right now, one Disney Springs snack spot is temporarily closed!
There’s one Disney World snack spot we get to visit almost every single month of the year…

…yep, we’re talking about Gideon’s Bakehouse! This spot in Disney Springs has different seasonal cookies each month, and any time there’s a new one, we make it a point to stop by and try it out. It’s an incredibly popular spot, and the line to get in can be a multi-hour wait on the busiest days. But is that line worth the trouble for the NEW February cookie? Let’s find out!

Especially in the month of February, there are SO many limited-time treats that you couldn’t possibly try them all in a week-long vacation. With Black History Month and Valentine’s Day, we’ve been running around all over the parks to test out the latest creations. And for one offering, we headed over to Disney Springs!

That’s right, we’re talking about Gideon’s Bakehouse! The beloved cookie shop is incredibly popular and usually has a long line out the door filled with visitors waiting to buy multiple half-pound cookies. We talk about Gideon’s a LOT because it’s one of our favorite spots, and if you’re a big Gideon’s fan as well, we’ve got an announcement to make!

Sometimes we get really attached to a snack, entree, or dessert, and then Disney cruelly snatches it away from us…but by now we’ve gotten used to it. The good news is that some foods also rotate seasonally, so we can comfort ourselves by knowing they’ll come back around in the future. And that’s exactly what happened with one of our favorite eats in Disney Springs!
Love desserts? If so, you might find yourself in a smidge bit of trouble in Disney World…because that place is FILLED with sweets.

And recently, we stopped by one popular dessert spot because their holiday treats were simply too adorable to resist.

Disney has a lot of exciting projects in store for 2024, but before we get there, there’s plenty to experience throughout the resort for December. We’re especially loving the Christmas Tree Stroll in Disney Springs and all the holiday snacks you can grab, and now another two — maybe the best ones of the year — have finally arrived!

And now that it’s the holiday season, it’s also home to one of our favorite free activities — the Christmas Tree Stroll. But there are also plenty of special holiday offerings that you won’t want to miss, like the new Dole Whip Flight at Swirls on the Water!
