The global health crisis has brought along another major event cancellation in Disney World.
Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge at Night
Disney Vacation Club Members get to enjoy lots of different perks — one of the newest being the Moonlight Magic events that give them after-hours access to the theme parks to attend dance parties, eat snacks, ride rides, and meet characters. We’ve already seen several of the events canceled, and now the rest of the scheduled Moonlight Magic events have been canceled for 2020.
Now that Disney World’s theme parks have proposed a reopening date of July 11th and July 15th, several Disney World hotels have also confirmed they’ll be reopening starting in June for Disney Vacation Club Members.

The purchasing of park tickets and hotel reservations has been temporarily paused while Disney World prepares its new reservation system, but we did just receive an email from Disney with additional information for DVC guests.

We learned today that in addition to the Disney World theme parks preparing to open this July, Disney Vacation Club Resorts will be reopening to its Members and guests on June 22. In addition, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort will reopen on June 15.

Ahead of the resorts opening, Disney sent an email to its Vacation Club members outlining several new measurements that will be in place when the properties reopen in just a few weeks.

An all-new rooftop dining experience is coming to Walt Disney World this summer when Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood opens on top of the new Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort on July 9, 2019.

Disney has announced an exclusive tasting event for the new restaurant for Disney World Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. The 2019 Epcot Festival of the Arts kicked off on Friday celebrating the Culinary, Visual, and Performing Arts. The Disney on Broadway Concert Series is terrific part of the celebration, featuring performances by some of Broadway’s most accomplished actors and actresses singing some of Disney’s most beloved songs at the America Gardens Theater.

The performances take place nightly with three shows throughout the evening (5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM) at the American Gardens Theatre.
