Every day brings us just a little bit closer to the inaugural voyage of the Disney Wish cruise ship (and we can hardly wait!). We’ve gotten so many details recently about what will be coming to the Wish like what entertainment, food, and merchandise will be available onboard!
It’s setting sail soon!
Today, the Disney Wish hit another huge milestone on its way to being seaworthy ahead of its inaugural sail on July 14th!
In case you haven’t heard, Disney is building a NEW cruise ship, called the Disney Wish. This ship looks like the fanciest one yet, with new dining experiences and shows, adults-only areas and kids’ clubs, and the first-ever Disney attraction at sea!

Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, hit water for the first time EVER today, and we’re happy to report that it floats! We’re not boat experts, but we know that’s a pretty essential part of sailing. Although the ‘Wish’ had to delay its maiden voyage, the ship is currently taking reservations, and hitting the water is another milestone in its opening. [Read more…]

There have been so many exciting updates about the Disney Wish in recent weeks and months, from the variety of unique dining options on board to of course the Aqua Mouse coaster.

With all of these announcements, we often forget that the ship is still under construction! The latest ship to be added to the Disney Cruise Line fleet is currently located at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany, where crews are hard at work bringing all of the magic to life.
