NEWS! Additional Disney Park Pass Reservations for Halloween Are Available!

Can you believe Halloween is just a couple of weeks away? As holidays and weekends approach (and luckily for us, Halloween is on a Saturday this year!), Disney’s Park Pass Reservation System tends to fill up.

Currently, Disney Park Pass Reservations are available for booking through January of 2022. For now, a Park Pass Reservation is required in addition to your valid theme park admission to be able to enter the parks. We previously shared that Halloween was completely booked for Magic Kingdom across all of the ticket types, but it looks like some availability has opened up once again!

NEWS: A Third Disney World Park No Longer Has Park Passes Available for Annual Passholders on Halloween

If so, there are plenty of other people that agree with you, as evidenced by the fact that the required Disney Park Pass reservations for guests to enter a park continue to fill up on Halloween for one group of ticket holders: Annual Passholders. Magic Kingdom was completely booked for October 31st for Annual Passholders by mid-August, with Disney’s Hollywood Studios following suit later in the month. When the Disney World parks reopened, there were a number of health and safety changes implemented that impact the guest experience. Some of these changes include the temporary pause on parades, fireworks, and character meet-and-greets, lack of park hopping, and the need to obtain a Disney Park Pass reservation to enter.

NEWS: Disney World Adds More Park Pass Availability for Annual Passholders in August

Getting into the Disney Parks is a little bit more complicated than it used to be.

Now, guests need BOTH valid park admission and a Disney Park Pass theme park reservation. For Annual Passholders, that can be tricky as Disney Park Passes set aside for Passholders seem to go VERY quickly compared to the other admission categories. To help alleviate this, Disney has just added MORE Disney Park Pass availability for Annual Passholders in August!

NEWS: Disney World Annual Passholders Should Receive Their 30-Day Pass Extension Soon

Disney World has reopened, but there are still some changes to be made to some of the new systems.

Annual Passholders have been on a bit of a rollercoaster this year when it comes to getting their money’s worth. Many folks have had their passes extended for the length of the closure — but that’s not the end of things. With the introduction of the Disney Park Pass reservation system to limit capacity, Passholders aren’t necessarily guaranteed entry into the parks.

To help mitigate Passholder concerns, Disney recently announced an added 30-day extension on top of the closure extension to make up for the capacity limits. Now, we know that those extensions are coming soon — and Passholders have another option.

NEWS: Disney World Annual Passholders Have Started Receiving Refunds for Processing Error

When Disney World closed, Annual Passholders on the monthly payment plan were given the option to postpone their payments until the end of the closure.

On Friday, some Annual Passholder who chose to postpone payments were unexpectedly charged for all four months of the park closures at once. Disney acknowledged that this was an error, and said they were in the process of reversing the charges.
