Severe thunderstorms are predicted to reach the Walt Disney World area shortly after 8 a.m. on Saturday, and last most of the morning.
Disney World is usually very busy during the weeks surrounding Christmas and New Year’s, but another super crowded time is just around the corner.

Princess Half Marathon Weekend (2023)
One of the BEST aspects (and some might argue that this is the only good aspect) of participating in a lengthy runDisney race is the ability to run, walk, or jog through empty Disney Parks and even take secret entrances and exits as you run from one park to another. runDisney 2022 Marathon Weekend
We saw some cool costumes from the runners as they raced for their medals in the 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon, and Marathon. There were even some runners who did ALL FOUR races this weekend and completed the Dopey Challenge! And, one runner took it to the next level and actually WON ALL FOUR RACES!!
