It’s pizza time!!!

We had a major craving for pizza (preferably not of the puffy kind) and decided to stop by Disney Springs to see how things were going over at Blaze Pizza. While there, we tried some of their brand-new menu items and wanted to share our thoughts with y’all.
If you’ve ever had pizza at Disney World, you know that it’s not all created equally.
Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza
There’s the infamous “puffy pizza” served at places like PizzeRizzo, Pizzafari, and Catalina Eddie’s, and some of the best slices can be found at Via Napoli in EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion. But, if you ask us, one of the BEST pizzas in all of Disney World is hiding at a restaurant you’ve probably never even heard of!
If you’ve been a DFB reader for any significant length of time, you know just how strong our opinions on Disney World pizza are.
Pizza at Disney World is hit or miss!
And if you’re new around here — just know that not all Disney World pizza is created equally. Some pizza is worth singing about from the mountaintops, while other slices belong in the bottom of the trash. All those years of trash-talking must have finally caught up with us because we’ve officially been sent a cease-and-desist order.
If you’re like us, you’re always looking for more Disney World dining options, and if you’re in the mood for pizza, there are more than a few spots to choose from, whether you’re into puffy pizza, fast pizza, or Sicilian pizza.
Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza at Disney Springs
In Disney Springs, Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is a favorite spot for quick, delicious pizza, but it often has a long line. Pizza Ponte, which is also located in Disney Springs, is an alternative pizza spot you might not have tried. We’re here to go over both restaurants and next time you’re in Disney Springs with pizza on your mind, you might want to try Pizza Ponte!

If you head over to Disney Springs, the shopping district in Disney World, you can find restaurants by world-class chefs with a huge variety of food options. There’s great Asian cuisine at Morimoto Asia, some of the best fried chicken you’ll ever have at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’, and delicious flavors from Spain at Jaleo (just to name a few). But even if you recognize those restaurants, you may not have heard of the place we’re heading today. Who doesn’t love a tasty slice of pizza?

Pizza can be hit or miss in Disney World. Sometimes you’re eating pillowy or cardboardy not-so-good slices and sometimes you’re eating yummy and authentic slices (We’re looking at you Via Napoli!). Well, it seems we’ve got another option when it comes to the latter — and we gave it a try!Â
After some months of construction walls hiding the pizza window in Epcot’s Italy pavilion we are glad to say the walls are gone and the pizza window is open again!

If you’ve walked the boardwalk around Disney World’s Boardwalk Inn resort recently you may have noticed there was some work being done on the Boardwalk Pizza Window located outside Trattoria al Forno. We now know the menu was being updated!

A brand new dining experience has just made its debut at Pizzafari!
Plzzafari is a Counter Service restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Located on Discovery Island, this spot is best known for its unique and colorful atmosphere, as well as its primary food item as highlighted in the name: PIZZA.
It’s always operated the same way you’d expect at any Counter Service location: place your order and pay at the register; pick up your food at a counter; then bring it all to whatever table you manage to find, depending on how busy it is in the moment.
But now — from 5:00 – 8:00 PM daily — a new service style is available. Though daytime will continue to offer the typical Counter Service experience, the evenings now ALSO present Pizzafari Family-Style Dining!
