Florida Floats a 4-Step Plan To Rebuild the State’s Tourism Economy

Meetings of the Re-Open Florida Task Force are now underway. Formed in response to the need for a strategy to safely re-open the Florida economy in light of the current global health situation (which has, of course, resulted in the temporary closure of Disney Parks around the globe including Florida’s Walt Disney World), the task force is including the state’s tourism industry within its areas of focus.

It Could Take Two Years for Disney Parks to Return to Normalcy Predicts Wall Street Analyst

Disney Chairman Bob Iger recently expressed his expectations for reopened Disney parks, spurring Wall Street to make their own predictions.

With the Disney parks currently closed, executives and analysts are looking to t he potentially very different future of the parks. Even as Iger began to suggest measures that could be taken to make guests feel safe, Wells Fargo analysts are predicting that the Disney parks may not return to their pre-closure attendance levels for two years.
