The announcement that the Disney Dining Plan was finally returning was an incredible announcement for so many.
Did you miss the Disney Dining Plan?
Using the Disney Dining Plan to pay for your meals and snacks ahead of your trip really takes a lot of stress out of vacationing for many families. However, not every restaurant and snack location is eligible for the DDP, and Disney has just released the full list of restaurants that are included when it returns in 2024!
It’s okay. We know you come to Disney for the food. We do too!

And boy, does Disney have options when it comes to where you eat! There are places like Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs or Le Cellier in EPCOT. Every year, theme park restaurants are nationally ranked on which are the best, and this year, THREE Disney World restaurants made the cut. Let’s find out which ones they were.

Narcoossee’s
After a lengthy refurbishment, Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort reopened on April 20th with a brand new ocean-inspired menu. While we tried SEVERAL delicious things on the menu, we did, of course, have some favorites!
Disney World has some pretty incredible restaurants.
Victoria & Albert’s
There are several restaurants on Disney World property that have won awards and been recognized for outstanding and unique eats. Some of these places have even been recognized by the Michelin Guide. And this year, a couple more dining spots have received that recognition!
One of the most classic restaurants in Disney World has CHANGED.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
California Grill is located at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This high-end restaurant is known for great food and even better views. Before Disney World began celebrating its 50th anniversary back in October 2021, the Grill had an a la carte menu. Once the big anniversary event began, that menu was swapped out for a special prix fixe menu to celebrate the occasion. One of the most important parts of your Disney World vacation (in our opinion, at least) is what you’ll EAT while you’re there! You can find some fantastic food at restaurants around the parks and hotels, at quick service and table service spots alike.
‘Ohana
At all table service restaurants, it’s recommended that you make advance dining reservations in order to secure your spot. Although some restaurants have walk-up waitlists, a table is not guaranteed with that option. The best way to make sure you get to dine where you want is to make those reservations ASAP! So when should you start reserving tables, and how do you even do it? We’ve got all the answers right here.

We’ve had countless character breakfasts, plenty of quick service lunches, and even a few signature (meaning $$$) dinners! But still, one of our favorite meals to enjoy is a delicious brunch. The Swan and Dolphin, or “Swolphin” if you will
Rosa Mexicano is the newest table service restaurant at Disney World. It’s located at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and it opened on March 19, 2023. This is actually a chain restaurant, and the new spot is the first location in the Orlando area (there are other locations in New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and a few other states). Looking for new dining options in Disney World? You won’t have to look far! There are quite a few new restaurants, with even more on the way.
Disney Springs
You can check out Carousel Coffee or the Boardwalk Deli at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, or head over to EPCOT to dine at Connections Eatery and Space 220. A few upcoming places that we can’t WAIT to try out are Roundup Rodeo BBQ (in Disney’s Hollywood Studios), The Cake Bake Shop (at Disney’s Boardwalk), and Summer House on the Lake (at Disney Springs).
