Now, don’t get us wrong, we do love the festival entertainment and special events, but really, IT IS ALL ABOUT THE FOOD. After a recent wave of layoffs of about 300 employees at the Walt Disney Company, Disney is looking to lay off even more employees.

The most recent round of layoffs within the company’s corporate operations included individuals in legal, HR, finance, and communications. At the time, no employees part of Parks, ESPN, or Disney Entertainment were laid off. However, approximately 75 individuals within a different department were just notified of a reduction of staff.

Since EPCOT opened some 42 years ago, the park — Walt Disney World’s second gate — has been a fan favorite. That means we’ll go from pumpkins to Christmas trees all around the parks and hotels. Disney has two special holiday events — Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Jollywood Nights was a new event in 2023, and it is returning this year with even more new entertainment and merchandise. We wish we didn’t have to wait until November to enjoy this holiday party. But luckily, we got an early sneak peek!
Disney Villains are finally starting to get the limelight they deserve (or demand).

As we’re all likely familiar with by now, an entire land dedicated to Disney’s Villains is coming to Magic Kingdom in Disney World. The land is expected to go in the area deemed Beyond Big Thunder, and according to Disney, “preparations are already underway.” However, we don’t yet know when the new land will be opening. On the other hand, and over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new villains show will be debuting, and we just found a new clue!
