Chances are it’s because the Halloween season is officially here! Over in Disneyland, we’ve been taking all the spooky decorations in while getting ready to go party it up at Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney’s California Adventure. And now, Halloween treats are popping up in Disneyland Resort — so come with us as we check out a churro that sounds downright delicious.

It’s Halloween Time!
We’ve seen Halloween merchandise start to pop up over on the west coast, and it’s not officially Halloween in Disneyland until we see the giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A. To celebrate the spooky season, Disney recently announced over 50 Halloween food items coming to Disneyland for the season, and now, they’ve arrived! So, buckle up, because we’re heading to Disneyland to try one of the new Halloween treats.
Disneyland may have taken a slower approach to the Halloween season than Disney World did, but spooky vibes have finally arrived on the west coast!

It’s official — Halloween time has hit Disneyland Resort. There are spooky decorations, events, and tons of treats. And when we say tons, we really mean it — over 50 Halloween treats have arrived at Disneyland for the fall season. And of course, it’s our mission to dig into some of the new treats, so that you know what to try during your own visit. So head over to Schmoozies! with us to try the Blood Orange Shake! (Blood? We’ve tried plenty of spicy food at Disney World and Disneyland over time including spicy cookies, dumplings, and beignets. The list of Disney snacks with ghost pepper in them is pretty small (though we did just try CHURROS with ghost pepper), but it just got a little bigger thanks to a new spooky season snack over at Disney California Adventure!

We’ve seen decorations start to show up around the park (including the ICONIC giant Mickey pumpkin on Main Street, U.S.A.), and today, September 2nd, marks the official start of the Halloween season at Disneyland Resort. Let’s take a look at what we can expect from this year’s festivities.

Halloween decorations first showed up in Cars Land earlier this month, and then more decorations followed soon after. Lots of Halloween treats are also on their way, but there was one decoration that was missing. But not anymore — the giant Mickey pumpkin is BACK in Disneyland!
It’s officially the Halloween season in the Disney parks, and we couldn’t be more excited!

We’ve already spotted all sorts of decorations up in Disney World, and over in Disneyland Resort Cast Members are preparing for Oogie Boogie Bash once again! Speaking of Disneyland, we were on a recent stroll throughout the park when we happened to notice that quite a bit of Halloween merchandise had moved in — so let’s check it out!
It may only be June, but we’re already looking forward to Halloween!
Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland Resort
During the Halfway to Halloween event, Disney announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be returning to Disney World this year (for the first time since 2019!) and Oogie Boogie Bash will be returning to Disneyland Resort, as well! We’ve already gotten a look at pricing for Oogie Boogie Bash, and today, tickets went on sale for a select group of people!

Just kidding…kinda. We here at DFB love Halloween and sometimes wish we could celebrate it all year long. Lucky for us, Disney is celebrating Halfway to Halloween with some spooky eats and treats! So, let’s see how pickles and corn dogs will combine to bring some scary flavor to Disneyland!
