When it comes to unique ice cream flavors, Downtown Disney’s Salt & Straw comes up with some super interesting combinations — spiked eggnog ice cream anyone?
We also loved the holiday flavors the shop released in December! But for the New Year, Salt & Straw is introducing its Vegandulgence flavors, which are 100% plant-based!
California Governor Gavin Newsom has implemented a system where “Stay-at-Home” orders are put in place in regions within the state once that particular area falls below 15% ICU capacity.
Earlier this month, some regions, including Southern California — where Disneyland Resort is located — fell below this capacity level, triggering the stay-at-home order to be implemented in that region. The stay-at-home order is then set in place for a minimum of three weeks, at which point the situation can then be reevaluated. The order was set to expire in Southern California on December 28th, but as California’s ICU capacity continues to fall, Governor Newsom has announced that the stay-at-home order will remain in place in Southern California.
No matter what flavor you’re looking for, Sprinkles at Disney Springs will likely have what you’re looking for in cupcake form! From vanilla and chocolate to more limited edition cupcakes, Sprinkles has some great options!

Another week has gone by and we’ve gotten some BIG news out of Disney World and Disneyland!
You may have read our post rejoicing over the opening of Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs, but did you hear that dates for EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival have been announced for 2021 or hear that one of Disney’s water parks will be opening soon? There are a bunch of new things you’ll want to check out during your next Disney trip — whether that’s to Disney World or Disneyland (when it reopens at some point in the future), and we’re breaking down 5 of those today!
It might be hard to believe, but Avengers Campus was originally scheduled to open at Disney California Adventure five months ago, in July of 2020! Disneyland Resort’s extended closure may have delayed the opening of this expansion, but we’re still over here geeking out over some of the incredible details that will be a part of this new land!
Let’s do a little recap of what we can expect once Avengers Campus finally opens!
The global health crisis has upended the travel industry and resulted in the closure of Disney Parks globally during the spring. Although many parks have reopened (with some ultimately re-closing), Disneyland in Southern California remains closed.
Although Disneyland Resort did have the opportunity to open up some retail outlets and restaurants at Downtown Disney, as well as on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure, a recent stay-at-home order has put a limit on the capacity for stores, as well as a limit on restaurants to only offer take-out and to-go orders.
‘Tis the season for giving!
While there are so many ways to support each other and give back this year, it looks like Disneyland is getting in on the action! Although the Disneyland theme parks are closed for the foreseeable future due to the pandemic, Disney took part in a donation event for families in Anaheim today!
We may not be able to go inside of Disneyland Park at the moment, but Disney’s team has been working on some projects in the happiest place on earth for all of us to enjoy in the future.
One of the projects announced some time ago is the reimagining of the Snow White Scary Adventures attraction there. We hadn’t heard too many updates about this project lately, but today — on the anniversary of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ premiere at the Carthay Circle Theatre — we got a MASSIVE reveal and first look at the updated attraction AND its NEW NAME!
