Iconic Disneyland FOOD Will Be Part of Buena Vista Street’s Reopening — Here’s What You Can Look Forward To!

When Buena Vista Street reopens next Thursday, November 19th, it’ll be the first time Disneylanders step food inside the parks in some capacity in over eight months! With the exception of the Stage 17 Backlot Premiere Shop, the parks have been totally off-limits as California is keeping its larger theme parks closed for the time being.

Besides the fact that we’ll be able to take in the sights and sounds of Buena Vista Street next week, there are some incredible returning FOOD items that are a HUGE deal to us!

News! California Discourages Non-Essential Travel Ahead of the Holiday Season

Over the past several weeks, many states and communities across the nation have noticed a rise in positive cases as we head into cold and flu season, where cooler temperatures draw more people indoors and family gatherings become a regular part of our holiday season.

NEWS: Select Disney Theme Parks Reported Net Positive Contributions for Q4 Report

Today, the Walt Disney Company is sharing LOTS of information with its shareholders on their fourth-quarter earnings call!

The fourth quarter, and the fiscal year, for the company ended in late September, and we’re really beginning to see the results and consequences of COVID-19 on Disney’s financial status. Disney reported over $14 billion dollars of revenue loss, and $2.4 billion of that was losses in the Parks, Experiences, and Products division. CEO Bob Chapek also shared how well Disney theme parks around the world fared. We’re taking a look at that now.

We here at DFB, along with all of our West Coast friends, have been getting geared up and VERY excited for the opening of Buena Vista Street!

Last month, Disney announced that the Buena Vista Street area of Disney California Adventure would be reopening for shopping and dining purposes as an extension of Downtown Disney. This news has been very exciting, as this is the first time in eight months that guests will be able to step into a Disneyland Resort park! In preparation for the opening of this area on November 19th, we’ve been anxiously watching the area for updates, and today we spotted Christmas decor!
