NEWS! Disneyland Resort Will Require Guests to Make Theme Park Reservations Upon Reopening

ICYMI, it was JUST announced that Disneyland Resort has proposed dates to begin a phased reopening. Pending approvals by state and local government, both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will open July 17th.

One of the safety measures in place upon the reopening of the parks will be limited guest capacity to promote physical distancing. Disney World and Disneyland have been closed since March, but attractions over on the east coast have been slowly opening up to guests again.

Universal Orlando plans to open its theme parks this week and Disney World will follow next month. Earlier today, we learned that Disneyland Resort is now only accepting reservations beginning July 15th. But according to recent reports, Universal Studios Hollywood is already considering opening the theme parks in July.

News! Disneyland Could Potentially Reopen in Less Than a Month, Say California Officials

While several Florida-based theme parks including Universal Orlando have or will be resuming their operations soon, state officials have just announced if the situation remains stable, California’s theme parks will be permitted to reopen in Phase Three which could be starting as early as June.

This includes major attractions such as Disneyland and Universal Studios Hollywood along with Knott’s Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain, SeaWorld San Diego, Legoland California, and other theme parks.
