We recently found ourselves at the park quite early (trying to get on Flight of Passage TBH), and in need of a breakfast to fuel our wild adventures. We decided to head to the Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe, located in the quiet village of Anandapur. That’s right — we traveled all the way from the planet of Pandora to Asia, just for breakfast. (Talk about dedication. 😉 )
It’s been a wild ride since the Avatar film came into our lives 10 years ago! Can you believe how time flies?!

So wild, in fact, Disney’s wildest theme park is celebrating the tencennial of the film that served as inspiration for one of its most popular lands, Pandora! Find out what they’re doing for Avatar here!

And while we love hangin’ around the Tree of Life holiday mural, Donald’s Dino-Bash (which has a holiday overlay!) and seeing Animal Kingdom’s unique Christmas decorations throughout all of its lands (including Pandora!) if you’re anything like us, it’s all about the Merry Menagerie puppets!
Animal Kingdom’s celebrating Christmas for the very first time this holiday season with a ton of new stuff — including this gorgeous Tree of Life Awakenings mural we can’t stop staring at!

Based on the new holiday version of Tree of Life Awakenings, this mural teases the wonder and magic that will appear when the tree comes to life each night. And while we’ve been snapping photos with the wall constantly (yeah, we’re a little obsessed!), now there’s new a way to take a piece of this lovely mural’s artwork home with you!
Look who just danced in from the Pride Lands! That’s right, it’s our Lion King BFF’s Timon and Rafiki!

The Tree of Life
Between soaring on the back of a Banshee, barely escaping carnivorous dinosaurs, and going on a two-week safari, we were beat! So we decided to pay a visit to one of our favorite places to relax: the Nomad Lounge!
