While Disneyland Resort remains closed, we’re starting to see some reopening progress.
Both Downtown Disney and Lake Buena Vista Street are open to guests for shopping and dining. And now, a hotel is planning to reopen, too!
Although Disney executives have made the case for Disneyland Resort to reopen soon, and we’ve seen some signs showing that Disneyland is preparing to welcome guests, an official reopening date for the Disneyland Resort theme parks has not yet been set.
Today, we’ve spotted an update that shows we may still have to wait a bit longer to visit the happiest place on earth.

While the Disney theme parks in California remain closed at the moment, the Downtown Disney District has reopened. Now, we’ve got some updates about when you can make a hotel reservation if you’re looking to stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels.
There’s SO much Disneyland news today, it’s hard to keep up!
Disney announced its proposal to reopen Downtown Disney on July 9th, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure on July 17th, and select hotels on July 23rd.
Disneyland is home to some very impressive gingerbread works-of-art this holiday season!
First, we were spooked out by the Haunted Mansion’s gingerbread house, then we were treated to the stately Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s gingerbread display located in its lobby!
