The NBA is finishing up the season on Walt Disney World property.
We’ve been keeping watch on the big blue wall at Disney’s Grand Floridian. The NBA set up camp behind the blue barrier to isolate players from the public. While isolated, the players got some pretty cool amenities like loads of video games and private pedicurists. We visited the wall a few times to try and catch a glimpse of the other side. Summer is in full swing at Disney World right now! And while we’ve already spotted some HOT fashion trends at the parks recently (including this adorable Trash Can Shirt for guys and Jungle Cruise Dress for dolls), what’s there to EAT?
We went searching for some summery foods today at Disney World, and we can’t wait to show you what we FOUND!
It looks like Milwaukee Bucks player and Disney superfan Robin Lopez’s Fairy Godmother has come THROUGH!
Earlier, the professional athelete lamented on Twitter about not being allowed inside the theme parks while the NBA finished their 2019-2020 season at Disney World. Even though the players are being housed on-property, they’re being kept apart from the general public for the entirety of their stay.
The NBA will be starting its season on July 30th at Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sports!
Players and officials will be staying on property at different Disney Resorts in areas that are isolated from regular guests (but with swoon-worthy amenities). Training courts have already started to be set up inside the hotels, along with fencing down the middle of places like Disney’s Floridian Resort to separate the NBA from resort guests!
It’s the Fourth of July, and we’ve been celebrating by having re-runs of Hamilton back to back (which is pretty patriotic, in our humble opinions!).
Although you might not be able to go the parks to ring in the holiday with the Muppets and all our other friends in Disney World, you can still party Disney style with treats all over the Disney Resorts!

A few days ago, a mysterious fence started going up across Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. And, while Disney hasn’t released information about the purpose of this project, the timing is definitely interesting!
Tomorrow is Independence Day, which means it’s time to salute all things AMERICAN!
Although Walt Disney World theme parks are closed to the public until July 11th (starting with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom followed by EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on July 15th), select Disney hotels reopened on June 22nd.
