And now, we’ve spotted them in the parks!
Great news, rockstars. They’ve fixed your super stretch limo.
We’ve got good news from Disney’s Hollywood Studios today! Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster mysteriously went down a few days ago and remained closed for five full days. We weren’t sure when we’d be cruising en route to an Aerosmith show again — until now!
It’s true: Walt Disney World is no longer providing complimentary MagicBands for Resort guests. This change, which was announced last summer, officially kicked in as we began the New Year.
But that’s doesn’t mean MagicBands aren’t still a thing, as evidenced by the abundance available for purchase around Disney World merchandise locations (and still available for pre-order at a discounted rate for Resort guests). In fact, a stop by Mickey’s of Hollywood in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today revealed a new color choice! Although this one might look a wee bit familiar, so you’ll want to look closely… [Read more…]
If you’re heading to Walt Disney World, you’re bound to want to capture your memories with LOTS of photos (in front of, say, the recently refurbished Cinderella Castle, for instance)!
The Disney PhotoPass Service gives you an extra hand (literally) in doing exactly that, with designated photographers available around Disney World to take pictures of your whole group at iconic locations (and even add a little extra pixie dust to your pics with Magic Shots). Memory Maker is a product that allows guests to download unlimited Disney PhotoPass photos and videos from their vacation. And Disney is offering a few limited time specials for Memory Maker, so get ready to say, “CHEESE!” [Read more…]
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Mask rules, distancing guidelines, and more have changed significantly in Disney World recently. Masks are now no longer required for fully vaccinated guests in most places, and distancing guidelines are being reduced. We’ve seen distancing markers removed in some line queues, pre-shows return to some attractions, and more changes being made. Many attractions are now loading guests in every row just as they used to prior to the pandemic-related closures. We expect that more changes will continue to take place on Disney World’s rides throughout the upcoming days and weeks as the updated mask and distancing guidelines are put in place.
If you’re headed to Disney World soon, there are a few things you need to know about like Park Pass reservations, which restaurants are open, and updates on the latest mask policies.
But, another important thing you’ll want to be aware of is how Disney is handling loading its attractions while keeping social distancing in mind. Will you be sitting with another party on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run? Are there plexiglass barriers on this ride or the other? We’re breaking it ALL down for you today.
There’s no shortage of amazing eats at Disney World and just about everyone has some sort of Disney food bucket list. We even created the DFB’s Disney food bucket list with our #OnTheList series a couple of years ago!
And while you may be familiar with those classic snacks (hello Mickey Premium Bars), there could be quite a few Disney treats that you may have TOTALLY forgotten about! So, we’re sharing our list of the 10 Disney World eats that you might have forgotten to add to your Disney food bucket list! [Read more…]
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
And, we’ve got plenty of food, merchandise, entertainment, and crowd updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
UPDATE: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster has now reopened!
Where’s Aerosmith’s agent when you need her?
It looks like the band has bigger issues on their hands than L.A. traffic right now because Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster is temporarily closed in Disney World!
When Disney World reopened, many of the resort’s entertainment options were either modified or shut down due to new health and safety guidelines in place at the parks.
This included much of the parks’ nighttime entertainment options, including the Happily Ever After fireworks show at Magic Kingdom and Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney knows just how much we love to be comfy and they’ve responded to fans of the classic spirit jersey with TONS of different designs to celebrate holidays or just for an afternoon hangout on the couch.
Now, retro Disney fans who love a comfy shirt can rejoice because Disney just released a new spirit jersey that fits both descriptions!
