Typhoon Lagoon
We love experiencing after-hours events in the Disney World parks, but H2O Glow After Hours nights can’t be forgotten about! This year, this special event is taking place on select nights in Typhoon Lagoon from May 25th-August 31st, 2024. How much is there to experience at one water park though? We’re here to show it ALL to you!
Accidents happen — even in Disney World. While Disney makes a point to prioritize safety, it is inevitable that incidents will still occur. Some incidents may be minor, like a trip and fall in Magic Kingdom or a scrape in Animal Kingdom. But other incidents may cause more serious damage.

Disney has some pretty special events that take place in the evenings after the parks have closed. This makes for some excellent opportunities to jump into much shorter lines and lower crowd levels overall. And that’s not all, because there can even be complimentary treats and drinks! We are big fans of attending these after-hours events. Another popular one is returning soon, and it’s almost time to get registered.

Right now, Blizzard Beach is closed, but Typhoon Lagoon is open and ready for guests! Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon reopened not long ago and Disney recently announced the return of H2O Glow After Hours, which has been unavailable since 2020. Today we learned the official dates of the event AND when tickets go on sale, so grab your calendar and get ready to go night swimming!

There’s more than just water rides here!
At Blizzard Beach, we’ve previously eaten our fill of Edible Cookie Dough, Chocolate-Dipped Key Lime Pie, Bacon and Macaroni and Cheese Hot Dogs, and a whole bucket of ice cream (#sorrynosorry). But Blizzard Beach has closed for refurbishment. 😟 However, Typhoon Lagoon just reopened and WE NOW HAVE NEW SNACKS TO TRY!
