There’s a lot of HYPE surrounding the movie, too. We recently got our first sneak peek of Melissa McCarthy as Ursula. Disney is looking to hire lookalikes to portray the new version of Ariel in the parks. We even got to see Halle Bailey with a new piece of Little Mermaid merchandise — a brand-new Ariel doll! “I Am Gonna Cry.” Halle Bailey Shows Off New ‘Little Mermaid’ Merch

The new live-action version of the Disney classic The Little Mermaid is releasing soon, and there’s a ton of news surrounding the highly-anticipated film.

Recently we got our first peek at Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, the evil sea witch and Ariel’s main foe! Disney also announced they are searching for lookalikes to portray Ariel in the parks. Halle Bailey, the actress starring as Ariel in this remake, just showed us another (mini) lookalike — a brand-new doll inspired by the film!
