Animal Kingdom Might Be the Place to BE for Treats in April!

Birthdays in Disney World are a pretty big deal. You can get a free birthday button, eat lots of cake, and receive birthday wishes from complete strangers — talk about special treatment! Back on October 1st, we celebrated the Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary, but on April 22nd, (which also happens to be Earth Day), it will be time to wish a happy birthday to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Of course, Disney tends to roll out the red carpet during a big birthday celebration, so we’re expecting some exclusive merchandise, tasty treats, and maybe a photo op or two; you never know what you might see! While the holiday isn’t until April 22nd, Animal Kingdom is celebrating all month long with new characters, Animation Experience classes, Wilderness Explorer badges, and snacks/drinks. Today, we tried out one of the brand new drinks that the park is offering for the month of April!
