After some MASSIVE jumps in wait times at Walt Disney World last week, things have stabilized a bit.
Wait times at Walt Disney World were steady over the resort this week, though we did still see some incremental increases.
Waits were LONGER across the board at Walt Disney World this week.
After last week saw wait times go down pretty much across the board at Walt Disney World, this week saw that trend unfortunately head in the opposite direction. Major attractions at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom saw increases in their average wait times, some as high as 10 MINUTES!
Y’all, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived!
After weeks of seeing pretty high average wait times, the Spring Break crowds have finally left Disney World! Wait times have gone down significantly at every single park, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Along with that, the walkways are also a lot less crowded — so getting around the parks has been so much easier, too. We’re hoping that these low wait times are here to stay — at least for a little while. [Read more…]
Wait times have not been letting up at Disney World this week!
However, it might not be in the way you’re thinking. This week, the average wait times have remained fairly…consistent. Still long, but a lot of wait times only had changed by a few minutes. Of course, we still have some that jumped up a good amount — like a handful of the major E-ticket attractions. We’re still feeling some impacts of those Spring Break and Easter crowds, so we’re not too surprised. [Read more…]
It’s Spring Break in Disney World…which is a nightmare for a lot of people. But it doesn’t have to be!
Yes, Spring Break and Easter weekend are notoriously busy times in the parks, and that has stayed true this year. Genie+ is selling out at record-high prices, and Park Passes are filling up — but we’ve got tips on how to stay sane and still have an awesome Disney vacation! Now it’s time to take a look at the wait time patterns from the past week so you can prepare for your upcoming trip! Take a deep breath because (spoiler alert) they’ve increased. Like, a LOT.
Alrighty y’all, you know what time it is!
It’s time to take a look at this week’s average wait times! This week feels like a breath of fresh air at Disney World compared to last week! Last week, we saw intense crowd levels, and some pretty intense average wait times. Luckily, almost EVERY SINGLE ride’s wait time went down (and some by as much as 30 minutes!). While we’re still in the midst of Spring Break season, we lucked out this past week. [Read more…]
Spring Break has sprung at Walt Disney World!
If you have been to Disney World this week, we’re sure you know what we mean. Crowds have been HEAVY, wait times have been LONG, and we have been on the edge of our seats waiting to see if the crowds would let up (spoiler: they didn’t). We have seen some INTENSE wait time increases this week, so let’s see what’s been going on! [Read more…]
Phew, wait times are NOT budging in Disney World right now.
We spend SO much time in lines at the Disney parks, and sometimes it just does not feel like we get a reprieve from the long wait times. This week is one of those weeks! The lines may feel endless at times, but the rides can be SO worth it. There are even some fun things you can do with your family in line — even if you’re not in an interactive queue. For example, you could play a classic game of “I Spy”, you could play “Heads Up” (an app you can get on your phone), or even just take in the scenery and enjoy the moment. Sometimes, doing fun things like that can take some of the pain out of the long wait times — now, let’s take a look at how long you’ll be occupying yourself! [Read more…]
It’s really no secret that here at the Disney Food Blog, we love Dole Whip.
Sitting right next to the Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland, Aloha Isle Refreshments is the classic location that many Disney World fans associate most with Dole Whip. We stopped by recently to review the offerings there, and decided to eat everything on the menu!
We have good news from Disney World!!!
Last week was, well, quite a week in the parks. In fact, it was one of the busiest weeks in all of 2024 so far! Between President’s Day Weekend and the Disney Princess Half Marathon, many people took time to visit the parks…but things are changing. We’re taking a look at the average wait times in Disney World from the past week and don’t worry — things are looking up!
