One of our favorite things to do when one year ends and a new one begins is to watch the Google Year in Search.
Each year, Google makes a (very emotional) video that highlights the most-searched topics and events of that year, all compiled with video footage from social media and professional media outlets, as well as songs that are popular from the year. Yep, they make us cry about as much as Pixar movies. Well, the Google Year in Search looked a little different in 2023. You see, 2023 marked 25 years of Google, and as a result, this year’s video became “25 Years in Search,” where the most-searched topics and events in Google HISTORY were showcased. The results are pretty amazing.

If you like to watch TV and movies, we bet you have a streaming service that you like the most out of all of them.
Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock — there are a bunch of options, and many people have subscriptions to multiple of these services. But, services subscriber number go up and down, with ones like Netflix losing subscribers and others like Disney+ gaining them. And now, Netflix’s subscriber loses are impacting their employees.
In this day and age, there’s a streaming service out there for everyone.
Between Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, and Netflix (among so many others) it can be tough just trying to decide which services are best for you! Disney+ recently announced that a new ad-supported subscription would be coming to the service in late 2022, and they’re not the only ones introducing something like this. Netflix plans on introducing its own ad-supported tier — and it might be happening sooner than originally planned.
There is a lot of competition when it comes to streaming services like Disney+ and Netflix.
Netflix has been a leader in the streaming world for a while now, but Disney+ is challenging that lead and is actually expected to pass Netflix in number of subscribers in the next few years. Netflix has also been losing subscribers, and now, a new move could cause them to lose even more.
