If you’ve been to EPCOT recently, then you know that the park is currently undergoing lots of construction.
There’s a lot going on here!
Construction is underway to bring new things to the park like a walkthrough attraction called Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana, new festival centers, and more. As construction continues to transform this park, we’re heading to EPCOT today to take a look at what’s new!
Ever wanted to travel the world without leaving Florida? Okay, probably not necessarily, but it is pretty cool that you can visit a bunch of different countries in EPCOT at Disney World!

A lot has been going on at EPCOT lately — Flower and Garden Festival just ended, Food and Wine Festival is starting soon, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is finally open, and the transformation of the park continues. So, let’s check out what’s NEW in EPCOT!
Who says adults can’t have fun at Disney?
Hello, EPCOT!
That’s especially true in EPCOT, where there are multiple festivals happening at different times of the year (we’re gearing up for the Food & Wine Festival starting soon!) that bring in even more delicious food than what’s already being offered on a daily basis! And if you’re a fan of sipping on a cocktail while you wander around World Showcase, La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion has a drink you’ve got to check out!
Disney World certainly likes to keep us on our toes, and they recently surprised us with a couple of MAJOR soft openings in EPCOT. Connections Café opened unexpectedly, which is the new Starbucks location in EPCOT. When we first went go check it out, the Connections Eatery (which shares a space with the Café) wasn’t quite ready for guests yet. But now that has CHANGED!

Connections Eatery also had a soft opening with its full menu available for guests to try! Of course we had to head inside to check out the space and try some of the eats. EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival
We’re visiting EPCOT today for the start of the 2022 Flower & Garden Festival! This festival has a lot of garden-inspired eats and floral flavors, along with some special attractions like topiaries that look like Disney characters, gardens inspired by places around the world, and live entertainment! It may seem like EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts JUST ended (and in fact, it only ended a few days ago), but get those forks and spoons ready because we’re about to dive straight into another EPCOT festival!
Mickey and Minnie Topiaries!
The Flower and Garden Festival begins on March 2nd, 2022, and lasts all the way through July 4, 2022. This event features elaborate topiaries of Disney characters, gardens inspired by different places around the world, and — our favorite part — lots of garden-inspired eats and drinks. Welcome to the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts! This festival has got some incredible art, stunning performances, and oh-so-tasty snacks.
It’s Festival of the Arts time!
We’ve been giving you LIVE updates throughout the day as we check out this year’s fest. We already visited the popular Pop Eats! booth (where we snagged that adorable Figment popcorn bucket) and the brand-new Deco Delights, but now we’re taking a look at a returning booth that we can’t wait to visit again.
Spending a ton of time planning your Disney World vacation and then having something go wrong that’s out of your control is not super fun.
Rain, rain, go away!
The weather can impact your trip, rides can shut down with no explanation, or a place you’ve been wanting to eat at is randomly closed. And, unfortunately, we saw a closed spot in EPCOT today that caught us off guard!
We’ve already visited and reviewed all the booths from the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival this year.

But one booth (that opened on October 1st) has already switched things up. The menu is still the same, but the booth has moved locations in EPCOT! Here’s where you can find the delicious crispy pork belly and cheesy rolls in World Showcase now.
EPCOT’s 2021 International Food and Wine Festival is nearing its end, and we’re already getting excited for the next fun food event in the park — EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays!
Minnie Peppermint Cookie
The International Festival of the Holidays starts on November 26th, 2021 and runs through December 30th, 2021. It’s a celebration of holiday traditions around the world through food, decorations, music, and more! The Holiday Kitchens around EPCOT feature flavors of the holidays from different cultures. And, similar to the cheese crawl at Food and Wine, Festival of the Holidays has a Cookie Stroll you can take part in!
