There is a LOT of amazing food in EPCOT, but there’s about to be even MORE amazing food.
Japan Pavilion
That’s because a new restaurant is set to open sometime this summer! That restaurant is in the Japan Pavilion in World Showcase, and it’s called Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya. This new location, described by Disney as a “festive dining experience in a sharable Izakaya style” could now be even CLOSER to opening.

Food & Wine is almost here!
The festival kicks off on July 27th and we’ve put together plenty of resources to help if you’re visiting this year. Make sure you check out all of the food booths and menus that will be available. There are several new booths this year that you won’t want to miss! We’re also looking forward to the merchandise, entertainment, cheese crawl, and so much more. We just said goodbye to the 2023 chapter of EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival for the year which makes way for the upcoming 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Lots of Disney World visitors like staying at Disney-owned hotels because of the fun theming and added perks (like free transportation to and from the theme parks). But right now, there are a few hotels that you might want to AVOID.
Polynesian Village
A few hotels on Disney World property are currently getting some updates and changes, which means if you’re staying there, you’ll probably see and hear some construction. It’s not the end of the world if this happens to you (usually the construction only happens during the day, so you might be away at the theme parks anyways), but if you’d prefer to stay away from the noise, these are the hotels you should skip for now.

Disney finally released the menus for the Food and Wine Festival, and we just learned about some new food booths we can expect to see at the festival. But what if we told you we spotted a whole new food-inspired merchandise collection in World Showcase?
Ever heard the phrase, “Never let them know you’re next move?” Well, Disney certainly seems to take that stance. One moment, we’re enjoying a nice, clear World Showcase Lagoon; the next, there are giant poles sticking up out of the water. Yeah, you might as well give up trying to predict what Disney will do next.
Genie+ is the new FastPass+
Recently, Disney made a pretty big change to its FastPass+ replacement, known as Genie+. Let’s see how the new system is working in early July!

At the 2023 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival you’ll find a special cheese crawl called Emile’s Fromage Montage. With this, you’ll buy any of the 5 featured dishes in the “crawl” and then once you’ve collected the 5 corresponding stamps, you’ll get a special prize. But just what items will you have to pick from to complete this challenge? We’ve got an answer!
