With all of the wild dishes at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, you might be hankering for some familiar foods. This festival is known for its adventurous takes on classic dishes (just take a look at this deconstructed key lime pie!), so you might be interested to see how they handled an American staple like funnel cake.
You’ve had a BLT sandwich before right? Want about a french onion soup or a key lime pie? These are familiar dishes you may have had once, twice, or dozens of times before. But you’ve probably NEVER seen them like THIS.
Deconstructed Dish
At the EPCOT 2023 Festival of the Arts, you can try all kinds of unique items — from mussels to flan. But one particular booth — The Deconstructed Dish — is totally changing how you’re presented with some classic eats!
Ever finish your meal and then crave a sweet dessert? But then you have to get some savoriness/saltiness to balance the sweet? But then you need some sweetness again? Well, if you want to make sure your savory/spicy and sweet needs are met, there’s a booth we need to tell you about.

Right now, EPCOT’s 2023 Festival of the Arts is going on and will be offered through February 20th, 2023. We’ve been making our way around EPCOT to see EVERYTHING the park has to offer — from food booths and new eats to concerts, merchandise, and more. Our current adventure takes us to El Artista Hambriento (The Hungry Artist) where there are LOTS of new things to try! Are they new festival favorites? There’s one way to find out!

Rainy day in EPCOT
Lots of attractions will close when it rains or storms in Disney, and severe weather storm warnings are not to be taken lightly no matter where you are. A rainy day in Disney isn’t really the end of the world (as long as you’re prepared), but if it’s rainy while you’re visiting EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts, you may run into more issues than normal.
When a booth is named “Gourmet Landscapes” you might go in with some high, gourmet food expectations, right? But can this Festival booth DELIVER on that promise of a “gourmet” meal experience? We’re about to find out.

When you picture eating at a theme park, what food do you imagine? Maybe a turkey leg? Some popcorn? Chicken tenders and fries? While you can certainly find those things in Disney World, one EPCOT spot is taking snacks to the next level!
Craftsman’s Courtyard
EPCOT’s 2023 Festival of the Arts has begun and will be available through February 20th, 2023. At the food booths, you’ll find all kinds of creative and NEW eats. Right now, we’re taking you on a virtual trip to The Craftsman’s Courtyard which, apparently, is the booth to visit when you want some fancy food!
If you absolutely love the energetic purple dragon that is Figment, prepare to have your mind BLOWN.
Love Figment?
In many ways, Figment has become the mascot of various EPCOT Festivals, but he’s especially prominent during the Festival of the Arts! The 2023 International Festival of the Arts has officially begun in EPCOT (and will be sticking around until February 20th) and while the food and entertainment might already be enough to draw you in, Figment fans might need to plan a visit just for the merchandise!
