Yep, the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival starts soon: it begins on August 29th and runs through November 23rd. During the festival, you’ll have a chance to sample food and drinks from a TON of food booths all over World Showcase, as well as some new special festival foods at existing EPCOT eateries. Then there’s the Eat to the Beat concert series, where you can jam out with your favorite band while you wine and dine. First, you’ve gotta figure out what your budget for the trip is, and how much of it is allocated to dining, and THEN you need to decide what table service restaurants to book (up to 60 days before your trip begins) and what meals you’ll stop at quick service restaurants for. On the Disney World website and My Disney Experience App, you’ll find that each restaurant has a number of dollar signs that can help you get a quick picture of how much it costs. You Might Want to AVOID EPCOT on October 22nd, 2024

We often tell you to check the Disney World park hours the week leading up to and even every single day of your trip.

Why? Well, because if you’ve booked your trip a year in advance, things may happen between the time you booked your trip and your actual travel dates. In fact, Disney is known to adjust its park hours all the time. Sometimes, it’s due to after-hours testing, or more often, a company may rent out a park for a special event (or the parks can close early for one of Disney’s special events like their Halloween and holiday parties or after-hours events). If you’re heading to EPCOT in October, it’s imperative you know that the park will be closing EARLY one day!
