The hallmark of EPCOT’s World Showcase has always been the unique cultural representation of countries around the world.
This was especially notable in the Morocco Pavilion, where the Kingdom of Morocco funded, designed, and oversaw the creation of their country’s Pavilion. Ever since, the Pavilion’s restaurants, stores, and exhibits have been overseen by an independent operating participant, not Disney directly. Today we have exclusive news for you that this will be changing by the end of 2020.
Hear ye, hear ye! We have exciting news from the kingdom of Arendelle!
Just kidding! We’re actually reporting in from the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT! Earlier this month, we saw the return of the Frozen Sing-along in Hollywood Studios and we were so excited for another way to hang with Anna and Elsa. Now, a meet and greet with the Frozen sisters has returned to EPCOT, at a distance of course!
Hello, world travelers, and welcome to EPCOT!
Let’s take a stroll around the world and into the future to see what’s new at this Walt Disney World theme park!
The Germany Pavilion in EPCOT is an unlikely place for a very exciting shopping spot — for Annual Passholders at least. That is until recently… .
Last week, the Disney World Annual Passholder Pop-up Shop opened in EPCOT and it’s got LOTS of exciting exclusive merchandise and deals for Passholders. We stopped in recently to see if there was anything new from the last time we visited and we hit the MAGNET JACKPOT.
Since Disney World reopened we’ve seen various changes, like the introduction of the Park Pass reservation system, social distancing measures, online check-in at table service restaurants, and more.
One area where we’ve seen some serious changes is Disney World’s holiday offerings for 2020. Although we’ve already gotten lots of details about what to expect for Halloween and Christmas, New Year’s Eve is still a large question mark. What will New Year’s Eve be like at Disney World this year? Here’s what we know.
Last week, we stopped by the Annual Passholder Pop-Up Shop in the Germany pavilion in EPCOT.
We found some fun items and great deals, but you won’t believe the adorable figures (and incredible sale!) we found when we stopped by today!
The second that pumpkin spice hits the parks and Mickey Pumpkins are out in Disney World, our Halloween-loving hearts are happy.🧡
As we’ve been spending our time snacking our way across all four parks and waving to our friends in the Character Cavalcades, guests heading to Disney World will get to have an extra spooky time during Halloween, even though Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been canceled. And now, Disney has extended Halloween hours in select parks.
We’re old enough to remember a lot of EPCOT attractions that are, sadly, no longer with us (and yes, Body Wars still makes us nauseous just thinking about it, but wasn’t it fun?). And we even remember some of the present attractions that used to be a lot different!
So we’ve decided to memorialize some of these classic EPCOT attractions with our brand new DFB mask collection! And these masks are all now available in our DFB Store!
Over the past week or so, we’ve been closely monitoring Disney Park Pass Reservation availability on Halloween, which also happens to be on a Saturday this year! Reservation availability has come and gone for Magic Kingdom, but the other three parks have consistently been available for guests to book.
That could now be changing, as MORE parks are starting to fill up for certain ticket types on Halloween!
