We’ve Got Really GOOD NEWS and Really BAD NEWS about Disney World’s After Hours Events

Disney’s After Hours events are practically a hidden gem in plain sight. It’s going to be really hard to convince us otherwise. These events boast drastically reduced crowds, rare character appearances, most if not all rides and attractions open for enjoyment, and there are even complimentary snacks!

However, food is the one place with these events where we can get a little squirrely. There are pros and cons to any event that Disney holds and this one point is certainly no exception. You might say “We’re here for the snacks” and it would be totally true. And now that the Disney Dining Plan(DDP) has made a comeback, we’ve been in full snack-searching mode. We have been looking at all the snack offerings all around Disney World (but we’re not snacked out yet!) and we’re on the hunt for that little, pink DDP symbol.

It’s been three years since we last saw the Dining Plan and since then lots of new items have surfaced. So we’re taking you on a hunt of your own for all these 10 new (since the last time we could use the DDP) snacks that count toward the Dining Plan.

So a LOT happened, a lot of things changed (goodbye, park pass reservations, welcome back, Disney Dining Plan and all-day park hopping). As far as food goes, the EPCOT Festival of the Arts opened and we ate just about EVERYTHING. Everything was so colorful and fun on the first day of the festival. We enjoyed the entertainment, the chalk art, the paint-by-number mural, the merchandise, and of course the FOOD! We stopped by every single food booth at the festival to find out the good, the bad, and the ugly.
