Recently, Disney has been making an effort to show more inclusivity.
As part of their effort to be more inclusive, a new map in Disney World represents people with disabilities, there have been adjustments to Cast Member uniforms, and Disney has released costumes that are perfect for kids in wheelchairs.
Disney has a trifecta of streaming services with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ all under their wing!
Today, we’ve got some news about a price change for one of Disney’s streaming services!
Oh, Disney…you really know how to pull us in!
The company knows how to play with our emotions. Disney can make us cry nostalgia-induced tears by playing “When You Wish Upon a Star” in a TV commercial, or they can make us almost pass out from excitement when they announce dozens of new Disney+ shows at once. We thought something similar was going to happen yesterday when Disney promoted a livestream on Twitter for an event. We, of course, tuned in, because usually, we get some big announcements from these sort of things. But, that is NOT what happened, not even close.
Streaming shows and movies at home is incredibly popular right now!
Many people have forgone cable television to instead subscribe to services like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, and more. These platforms are filled with great content, so fans usually find that they’re worth the price. But what happens when the price goes up?
Ever since The Mandalorian first premiered on Disney+, Baby Yoda has been all the rage.
We’ve seen him in merchandise, we’ve seen him hidden in Disney World — where haven’t we seen Baby Yoda? Whether you want to call him Baby Yoda, The Child, or Grogu; you have to admit that this little fella is a big deal. Now, we’ve seen Baby Yoda in a place we never thought we’d see him.Â
Disney’s a big fan of holiday specials, and we’ve seen several so far this year!
Last month, we watched The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration, and we laughed along with the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special that premiered on Disney+. Disney Magic Holiday Quest was also new this year and featured Disney Channel stars participating in an overnight scavenger hunt at Magic Kingdom. Now there’s a Disney-themed holiday addition coming to a place you wouldn’t expect — an NFL game!
We’re still processing ALL the news that was shared during last week’s Disney Investor Day.
We learned that more than 100 titles will be coming to Disney+ in the next year, including a highly anticipated Hocus Pocus sequel, ALL the Marvel and Star Wars series we could ever dream of, and a new Pixar film! Well, we’ve been really busy obsessing over all the new Disney-related titles, but there were also plenty of announcements about what’s coming to some of Disney’s other streaming services!
Happy Disney Investor Day!
We’re so excited to learn more about what Disney has in store for Disney+, as well as for its other streaming properties, including Hulu!
Yesterday, The Walt Disney Company held an earnings call regarding the end of their fourth quarter and end of their 2020 fiscal year.
The Disney executives on the call shared a LOT of information about Disney’s finances, the situation with their theme parks and entertainment, and some ideas about the future. Today we’re breaking down the BIGGEST things you may have totally missed from yesterday’s call.
