Is Disney Trying to Tell Us Something NEW Is Coming to the Figment Ride?

Considering how POPULAR that mischievous little purple dragon named Figment has become in Disney World, we’re a little puzzled why Disney hasn’t done more with the character. Earlier this year, Disney introduced a NEW Figment character meet-and-greet in EPCOT, and fans lined up out the door to meet him on opening day.

But since then, things have been pretty quiet over in the Imagination Pavilion. Some Disney fans think Figment’s classic ride, Journey into Imagination, could use an update, and other Disney fans are ready for a Figment popcorn bucket restock. So, what does Disney have planned? Figment!

Figment, the purple dragon who is the star of EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination with Figment attraction, has quite the fan following. He’s become the mascot, in a way, of many of EPCOT’s festivals, a Figment meet-and-greet is coming back to EPCOT in the future, there was an entire Figment popcorn bucket fiasco, and we’ve seen all kinds of Figment items released in the past. But now we have HUGE news for Figment fans.
