Who’s ready for a new fireworks show in EPCOT?!

Harmonious ended its run with the 50th Anniversary of Disney World, and since then, EPCOT Forever has been the temporary fireworks show that plays each night in World Showcase Lagoon. But on December 5th, 2023, the new show — Luminous, the Symphony of Us — will premiere. Now, EPCOT is prepping for the new show, and we’ve got some news to share!

Our View
For a while, one central barge and 4 side barges have called World Showcase Lagoon their home in EPCOT, blocking the view through World Showcase (much to the dismay and frustration of many Disney guests). These barges were critical for the Harmonious fireworks show. But that show has ended and Disney has announced that the barges will be going away (they’ll be removed in phases). While we have loved visiting the World Showcase’s restaurants and riding Test Track again, EPCOT has a pretty big maze of construction in the park right now.
