Gas prices reached all-time highs making road trips more expensive, plus flight delays and cancelations have been plaguing the airline industry left and right. Staffing shortages and reduced flight schedules have been cited as factors in these issues, and experts don’t believe air travel will be getting any easier anytime soon. Although summer travel demand has increased this year, airlines are having trouble keeping up.
