Disney is known for starting grand construction plans and then stopping them without sharing any details as to why.

Let’s take a trip back to 2019 when Disney announced that they’d be bringing a new hotel to Disney World. It was to be called Reflections — A Disney Lakeside Lodge. Permits were filed and everything, but then Disney went quiet and stopped making any references to this future hotel. Those were the last things we heard about the project until now. A Disney World Hotel Fast Food Restaurant Is Set to TEMPORARILY CLOSE Soon

Some big changes have hit or been announced for Disney World’s hotels lately.

Over at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds, this is particularly true. Recently, Trail’s End Restaurant reopened from a lengthy refurbishment and now serves an updated Quick Service menu. Crockett’s Tavern also has new menu items, and NEW cabins have been announced for the resort (and are set to open in 2024). But some more changes could be on the way.
