Quick recap: Disney World closed in March, kept accepting reservations, announced reopening dates, then wiped out existing dining and FastPass+ reservations. Now what? Disney is still sorting our their plan of action for the reopening, but let’s take a look at each part of your vacation to see what they are currently refunding!

Disney World may be closed, but there is one interesting thing that the closure has us looking forward to.

In the past, hurricane closures and recessions have caused some serious dips in attendance for Disney World. With the special health concerns of the current situation and the projected recession, there is certainly a possibility going into the next few months (and even years) that attendance will be lower than usual in the parks.
Disney has a track record of trying to drive attendance with discounts so we might see some CRAZY Disney deals soon!
We’re already used to dealing with some level of mystery surrounding when Disney World decides to release its free dining offers, but we’re especially curious about what will happen during these unprecedented times!

If you like going to Disney World without having to pay for most of your snacks, meals, or beverages on the fly, you’re probably just as anxious as us to find out if another Disney World free dining offer will be released in 2020!
Less than a week ago, Disney began canceling reservations for guests who had bookings during the week of May 17th through 23rd, 2020.

And even though Shanghai Disneyland recently announced it will be reopening on May 11th, another batch of cancellation letters are being sent out to folks with plans to visit Disney World or Disneyland later this month.
While we wait for Governor Ron DeSantis to release his re-opening Florida outline (which he is expected to announce today) Disney World has started sending out another round of emails to more guests (last week, the company sent out emails for those with reservations through May 16th), informing them the parks will be closed until further notice.
