Spending the holidays at Disney World is super magical, until it’s not.

While typically, a bit of rain doesn’t affect park operations (it’s Central Florida, after all), there are instances when the rain can really put a damper on your magical vacation. Exhibit A: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Yes, heavy rain can fully STOP the party from happening. This happened on November 16th, when the rain was so heavy that Cast Members stopped allowing folks into the party and marked the event as ‘rained out’ at around 8:30PM. All parades, fireworks, and meet and greets for the night were cancelled. Folks in the park said that the line for Guest Relations started at City Hall and went all the way back to Cinderella Castle, because they wanted their refunds! Well, if you were at the November 16th event and got rained out, we have good news.
