Attention Frozen fans! We’ve found even more new merchandise you’ll want to check out next time you’re in Epcot!
Since the release of Frozen 2, we’ve seen a TON of new merchandise appear throughout Disney Parks. And yesterday we found several new apparel pieces at The Fjording Shop in the Norway Pavilion in Epcot to share with you!
Have you had your fill of Frozen news lately? I mean, with Arendelle Aqua, the Sven Carrot Cake, and the Bruni Cupcake, there’s been a LOT to chat about.
But now we have even more exciting announcements to share!
Hey there! Big summer blowout in Epcot’s Norway! Don’t worry, though — you can wear this merch ANY time of the year.
Oaken must be clearing out his Trading Post next to the Frozen Ever After Ride! An entirely new stock of items has blown into the Norway Pavilion. You can tell Princess Anna that we would definitely kiss a troll to get our hands on some of these pieces!!
It’s no secret that we love Disney food. Let’s be real — we love all food. We also love saving money.
So, we’ve discovered a thing or two that may transform the way you eat while visiting the parks. These little hacks help you save time and money so you can have the best trip possible! What’s better than that?

Dessert Parties have become increasingly popular in Disney World as a way to enjoy a dessert buffet with reserved viewing for a nighttime spectacular in the parks. The Frozen Ever After Dessert Party in Epcot pairs a dessert buffet with reserved viewing for IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, and also adds an after-hours ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction.
It is not unusual for the booking window for dessert parties to be less than the 180-day window typically available for booking dining experiences, since the party start time is based on what are often yet-to-be-determined showtimes at that point. But we have received a lot of questions about the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party in particular, since so many guests are excited for the potential to fit it in with their plans for the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. These days, if there’s a Nighttime Spectacular at a Disney World park, there’s bound to be a Dessert Party to go with it! These extra-ticket events have become a popular splurge option for guests who want some sweets to go along with the fabulous nighttime shows (not to mention the ease of reserving a prime viewing spot without waiting an hour before the fireworks begin).
Recently I reviewed the Happily Ever After Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom; but the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party kicked off in Epcot in July, so I wanted to get in on that action to relax and unwind after my VERY full day covering the Best of the Fest at the 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival.
‘Cuz that’s how I roll. Check it out with me!
You may recall that for the past few years, guests could reserve the Sparkling IllumiNations Dessert Party, which also featured a dessert buffet and a reserved area for IllumiNations viewing.
But in July, Epcot replaced the Sparkling Party with the current Frozen theme. Now, look: we know some of you are completely Frozen-ed out. We hear you. But your kid may not be just yet. And this new party includes one neat perk. It still features plenty of desserts, and it still offers a great view of the show. But now, an after-hours ride on Frozen Ever After is included once the smoke clears from IllumiNations! [Read more…]

Starting July 17th, a brand new Fireworks Dessert Party is coming to Epcot. Replacing the IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party (its last date is listed for July 14th) will be the Frozen Ever After Sparkling Dessert Party, themed to — of course — the Frozen film and Frozen Ever After attraction in the Norway Pavilion.
Held on select evenings, the experience will begin at World Showcase Plaza East one hour prior to IllumiNations, where guests will enjoy desserts, drinks, and views of Epcot’s nighttime spectacular, IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, followed by a ride on the Frozen Ever After attraction. There’s no shortage of new stuff popping up in Epcot’s Norway Pavilion these days!
The main additions, of course, are the Pavilion’s new ride — Frozen Ever After — and Anna and Elsa’s new meet and greet spot, Royal Sommerhus.
These new attractions have brought about another change to the Pavilion: it now opens at 9:00 am (the majority of Epcot’s World Showcase opens at 11:00 am daily). That means the Pavilion’s Counter Service option, Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, is open for the earlier morning hours, too.
With more traffic in Norway (and we ain’t kiddin’ around — check out the lines from opening day for Frozen Ever After!), the bakery case in Kringla has seen some additions of its own. We thought we’d show you a few today.
Now, there are a few more breakfast-appropriate items that are available for the earlier morning hours, like the Jarlsberg and Onion Biscuit served with bacon, and an Egg and Leek Pastry. But since we had to tackle this… [Read more…]
Happy Sunday! We hope you’re having a wonderful last weekend in June! We can’t believe that July is just around the corner!
Of course, this just means we’re getting MUCH closer to the 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival and after that, the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort!
We have a lot to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in…
