Here are a few updates of what’s happening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including some changes at restaurants around the park and new merchandise in the shops!

They’ll go the extra mile to add in a secret or two when it comes to constructing a park, theming a new attraction, or creating a new experience. And, a lot of it is so secretive that the average park-goer will completely miss it. From nods to history to secret levels in rides and loads of other cool things only Disney can do — we’re letting you in on all the secrets that Disney packed into Hollywood Studios to make the park extra special for new and long-time visitors.

Hollywood Studios is ready for the Holidays!
From now through January 6, 2019, practically the entire park will be celebrating the season! Food, fireworks, and festive decor (and MORE) have transformed Hollywood Studios into a Holiday Winter Wonderland… and that includes this year’s new addition to the park, Toy Story Land!

The Studios has all sorts of festive fun in store this season, and it’s going to be a Flurry of FUN! The new Sunset Season’s Greetings will bring snow, moving billboards, and holiday projections to the Hollywood Tower Hotel on Sunset Boulevard, and we’re getting ready to welcome back the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Nighttime Spectacular, too, all kicking off November 9th!

When you find yourself in the middle of Disney’s Hollywood Studios in need of something cold and creamy and delicious, I’m going to give you some odd advice: look for the big, green dinosaur.

There, among the jungle trees, you’ll see a gentle giant, chomping on vegetation. And you know you’re in for a treat. (If Gertie’s is open for business, that is.)

If you’re lucky, Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction will be open, and serving up wonderful spirals of chocolate and vanilla (or swirled!) soft serve in cups and cones, both sugar and waffle. You’ll also find some of your favorite premium ice cream bars, as well as other snacks, like fresh fruit and trail mix.
