Christmas has arrived in Disney World!
But the holiday magic isn’t JUST confined to the parks. Even without a park ticket, there are plenty of ways you can celebrate the season in Disney World!Â
Halloween weekend has arrived, which means that the holidays are — quite literally — right around the corner.

And Disney World is gearing up for the season — we’ve already seen holiday decorations in the parks, we got a sneak peek at some of the holiday merchandise we’ll soon find, and we even have a list of holiday treats we can’t wait to try! And now, we’ve got some details about this year’s gingerbread displays.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has some of the most beautiful holiday decorations in Disney World.

A few days ago we saw the giant tree go up in the lobby and other holiday decor all over the resort. And while there may not be any huge gingerbread displays this year, we found a pretty adorable substitute!
The temperature has started to drop, the fuzzy sweaters are out, and Christmas has started to sweep its way across Disney World!

While the parks will be in a full holiday swing from November 6th through December 30th, entertainment and experiences in the parks and resorts are seeing some MAJOR differences this Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
Since the Walt Disney World theme parks reopened a few months ago, we’ve seen various changes including the introduction of systems like the Park Pass Reservation System and the suspension of Fastpass+.

The holiday experience at Disney World has also changed significantly. Just recently, we shared some updates with you about the upcoming Christmastime entertainment and offerings that will be available at Disney World this year, but there’s also quite a few Christmas staples that guests won’t be able to experience.

You might not be ready yet to start humming Jingle Bells just yet, but the Holidays at Walt Disney World are on their way… and frankly, we love it! Seriously, the amazing Cast Members/cookie engineers/pastry chefs/magicians have outdone themselves again! The chimney is ready for Santa, the shingles are delightfully snowy, and the attention to detail is everywhere.
