EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays has officially begun, and we can’t wait to see everything the festival has in store! Although the big gingerbread displays at the resorts have been canceled this year, one annual gingerbread display is BACKÂ but in a new location.
Disney is really great at making beautiful things out of gingerbread!
Grand Floridian Gingerbread Houses
In years past, they’ve made gigantic gingerbread houses for display at the resorts, and while that isn’t happening this year, they’ve made several smaller creations for us to admire! We spotted a gingerbread and chocolate sculpture at the Grand Floridian, a gingerbread model of Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and now, we’ve spotted a very cute gingerbread carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort!
Disney has made some AMAZING things out of gingerbread over the years!

Even though there won’t be any massive gingerbread displays in the resorts this year, we have seen some very intricate, smaller creations, like a gingerbread/chocolate sculpture at Disney’s Grand Floridian and a gingerbread model of the Contemporary Resort. We’ll also be on the lookout for a gingerbread display to appear at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays! Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has some of the most beautiful holiday decorations in Disney World.

A few days ago we saw the giant tree go up in the lobby and other holiday decor all over the resort. And while there may not be any huge gingerbread displays this year, we found a pretty adorable substitute!
Disneyland Resort is still mostly closed, but Downtown Disney is open for business, and soon, California Adventure’s Buena Vista Street will open with limited shopping and dining.

Once those Mickey Christmas wreaths go up in Magic Kingdom you know November has arrived. That’s Disney’s cue to set out new holiday treats in the theme parks and resorts. We’ve eaten so much gingerbread in the last few days, but we’re ready for more! We found THREE more Christmas cookies at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and we want to share them ALL with you.
