We spent some time at some Disney World resorts just to bring you all the latest updates. So…are you ready?!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is pretty rockin’ right now.

Between the draw of Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and the still-new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, lots of guests want to head on over. Yesterday, we stopped by Hollywood Studios too and we’re bringing you the latest updates!
We HAVE to show you what we saw in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Even though traditional meet and greets are still suspended, we love spotting characters out and about in the parks. We’ve had some great interactions with them during cavalcades, or even if we’re just passing by! But we’ve gotta warn you: we don’t think you’re prepared for what we saw in Hollywood Studios today.
It’s hard to imagine two things that go together more than Disney and Mickey Mouse.
Mickey Mouse
The Mouse and the Walt Disney Company have been intertwined ever since Mickey first debuted in 1928. Now, almost a full century later, the company’s copyright ownership of Mickey has come to an end…at least partially. Wait…so Disney doesn’t own Mickey anymore? HUH? What does that even mean!? We’re breaking it down.
We love seeing Disney characters out and about throughout the parks.

Even though we can’t hug them right now, it’s always fun to chat and dance alongside some of our faves. We’re bringing you around Magic Kingdom today — so come say hi to a bunch of characters with us!
If you’re missing Disney a little extra today, a Disney-themed DIY may be the answer!

Walt Disney World’s Marathon Weekend just wrapped up, and we’re lacing our shoes up for runDisney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend from February 21st-24th. But while we wait, this Goofy DIY will add some character to our running shoes!
We’ve been celebrating the holiday season for a WHILE now at Disney World with festive character cavalcades, delicious treats, and more!
Santa
And while we’ve seen Santa in the parks in special ways this year, it seems jolly old Saint Nicholas has to spend a bit more time back in the North Pole preparing for Christmas 2021 and needs someone to take over some of his cavalcade duties. So, his more goofy counterpart has been popping up in Disney World!
Even though we don’t have traditional character meet-and-greets and meals right now, Disney has been very creative when implementing ways for us to interact with our Disney friends!
Pluto!!
Just this morning, characters returned to Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary (in socially-distanced fashion), and we’ve seen several fun cavalcades and distanced meet-and-greets in the parks. We speculated a few weeks ago whether or not characters might come around to visit the Disney World Resorts again, and then we spotted some friends over at Disney’s Grand Floridian last week! Today, we saw a few characters again, this time at Disney’s Riviera Resort! And they showed up in a cool ride!Â
We’ve seen Mickey and his friends in the holiday cavalcades and some character dining experiences, and we’ve waved at him as he stood on the Main Street, U.S.A. train station, but now there’s one more spot to find the mouse!
Chef Mickey’s
A few months ago, Disney shared that some of our favorite characters would soon be making their way back to Chef Mickey’s in Disney’s Contemporary Resort and the day has finally arrived!
Although you can’t hug your favorite Disney characters at the moment, we’ve really enjoyed seeing some of our best pals in character cavalcades, at modified character dining experiences, and in modified meet-and-greets.
Goofy!
We’ve even been able to see the ever so special Santa Goofy over at Minnie’s Holiday Dine in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. But today we spotted Santa Goofy in Magic Kingdom in a totally different form!
