There is so much construction going on around Disney World right now. From the Ticket and Transportation Center to the Skyliner Gondola System, the parks are going all out to make travel much more convenient for guests as the 50th anniversary approaches for Walt Disney World.
And now there may be another convenience in the works that we’ve been hoping for for a LONG time… .

We have great news, because the Grand Floridian’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will officially open on August 6 and guests may begin booking appointments today!
We’re hopping on the Walt Disney World Monorail Resort Loop to see What’s New at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, and Contemporary Resort. There will be rain coats! There will be cupcakes! There will be other new things! Please stand clear of the doors, and let’s glide!

This week we hopped on the monorail for a tour of all the resorts around Seven Seas Lagoon! We stopped by the Grand Floridian to check out their yearly Easter Egg display, checked out the latest cupcake to arrive at Contempo Cafe in the Contemporary Resort, and sipped on the new spiked Dole Whip drink at the Polynesian!

First, let’s head to the Grand Floridian for some special springtime treats!
The Grand Floridian Chocolate Easter Eggs are now on display at the resort through April 28th! This annual holiday display was joined by something egg-stra special this year — Springtime Snacks! There’s one snack in particular that really caught our eye…the Grand Egg!

After enjoying a Lapu Lapu at the recently renovated Tambu Lounge we found some menu updates at Kona Island.
Bibbidi! Bobbidi! BOO! Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is Disney’s own boutique for guests ages 3-12 years old. “Magical Makeovers” are provided by Fairy Godmothers-in-Training who turn guests into royal princesses or gallant knights. Currently, there are two Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques in Disney World located in Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs.

Request a room far from the main building and pools — even on the backside of a building where you’re less likely to have noise from passersby.

But if you and your crew prefer to live the sweet life, consider booking a Deluxe Resort room — which is often a decent deal when you split it 2, 3, 0r 4 ways! These rooms offer more space and higher-end finishes. Plus some of the Deluxe Resorts have added perks — like great dining options and entertainment.
