No matter whether you prefer family friendly classics like Hocus Pocus or would rather go all in with slasher flicks, your movie-watching environment has to be just right!
Even though Disney has been celebrating Halloween for a few weeks now (decorations and merchandise went up in the theme parks in mid-August!), we feel a little bit better about going into full spooky mode now that it’s officially September.

There’s so much to love about Halloween, especially if you’re a Disney fan. There’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, all of the spooky snacks, and of course, our favorite villains always come out to play. We just found another reason to be extra excited for Halloween this year, and it has something to do with three iconic witch sisters.
Hocus Pocus turned 28 years old this year, and it’s still a majorly iconic Halloween movie. So much so, in fact, that a sequel is in the works!

Disney has released all kinds of Hocus Pocus merchandise and treats this year, like a set of three cupcakes, and new mugs, and even Crocs! Now there are three more Hocus Pocus collectibles dropping soon, and if you’re a Hocus Pocus fan, it’s time to start saving your pennies.

This is Halloween!
So while we’re busy LOVING the Halloween decorations at Disney World (Mickey pumpkins EVERYWHERE), eating all the Halloween snacks we can get our hands-on, and buying ENTIRELY too much Disney Halloween merchandise (don’t @ us), we’re also planning to watch Halloween movies on Disney+ for the entire month of October.

This is Halloween!
…spooky season has officially arrived! We started celebrating last month as soon as the Halloween decorations went up at Disney World and the first Disney After Hours BOO Bash event took place. But there’s more Halloween fun on the way! Soon, we’ll see even more Halloween merchandise become available, AND a spooktacular television viewing tradition will return this year! We’ve been doing all The Nightmare Before Christmas recently — buying merch, eating snacks, and drinking drinks, all dedicated to one of our favorite Halloween (and Christmas) films! We’ve also enjoyed seeing The Nightmare Before Christmas characters in the parks during the Halloween cavalcades!
