It’s Halloween season, and Disney World is in the spooky swing of things!
Halloween in Magic Kingdom
We’ve already been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and shopped a plethora of seasonal merchandise in the stores, and we’ve even tried several spooky snacks in the past several weeks. But Disney will be continuing these celebrations until Halloween! And today, we got a NEW Halloween collectible in the parks.
Alright. We’re gonna say it. Jack Skellington? He’s a little spooky! Although he makes a great Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party host, there’s something about his tall, looming presence that sends a shiver down our spine. Anyone else?!

Well, Jack is BACK at the 2024 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year, and this year, he brought a SCARY addition to the Magic Kingdom! Wait until you see the new souvenir EVERYONE is talking about online right now.
If you wanna talk about fan-favorite souvenirs at Disney World, it probably comes as no surprise that popcorn buckets are pretty high up on that list!

But what’s even better than a popcorn bucket in Disney World? An EXCLUSIVE popcorn bucket that only a select few can get, making it all the more unique! In 2023, those visiting Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have the opportunity to purchase an exclusive Halloween bucket, and these can often be VERY popular. In 2022, the exclusive Halloween popcorn bucket featured Zero, the ghost dog from The Nightmare Before Christmas. This year’s party-exclusive bucket? Well, you’ll just have to come along with us and find out!
Every year, we see the Disney World merch team round up the usual suspects for Halloween: new Loungefly bags, Crocs, Starbucks Tumblers, and pins. Lots and lots of pins. Don’t get us wrong — we love all those spooky Loungefly bags, but this year something new caught our eye.Â

When we discovered Disney’s NEW Halloween popcorn bucket, we immediately fell in love. It even reminds us of the SUPER popular Light-Up Mickey Pumpkins that sold out in 5 minutes flat on shopDisney recently. (Those pumpkins may return online soon, though!) So naturally, after discovering this new popcorn bucket, we HAD to show it off. But there’s one small problem; we may need to book a flight just to get ahold of this new souvenir.Â
It’s officially the Halloween season in Disney World, so you know what that means! Pumpkins and Jack-o-lanterns are everywhere, fall-colored bunting has appeared throughout Main Street, U.S.A., and Disney is swapping out its affinity for blue food dye to orange food dye. 😂

Plus, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off tonight, but you don’t have to wait until the sun sets to get some spooky treats or villainous souvenirs.
Although it’s only August, Disney is already gearing up for Halloween celebrations, as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially kicks off on August 12th. This party will bring a fireworks show, a parade, trick-or-treat stations, and villainous meet-and-greets to Magic Kingdom, not to mention all the new treats and snacks!
Halloween decorations to DIE for
Besides all the candy that guests can collect throughout the park, there will be new snacks, treats, and drinks at various restaurants and kiosks throughout Magic Kingdom. Some of these locations will also have special souvenirs, including popcorn buckets and souvenir cups — and now we know exactly WHICH collectibles will be arriving in Disney World for the occasion. Some of the items that tend to be very popular in Disney World are the specially themed popcorn buckets. During Halloween this past year, we saw a VERY cool Mickey Mummy popcorn bucket released in Disneyland and (eventually) in Disney World.
